No-Sew Halloween Costume Ideas

Halloween is coming up soon and with the way the economy is today I don’t think I’ll be going out to purchase a costume for my kiddo’s this year. I found an awesome article that talks about making Halloween costumes without having to sew a anything. I’m all for not sewing because the last time I did any of that was in middle school and I screwed up the shirt I made. lol

5 Homework Tips for Moms

I’ve been a homeschool mom for several years, but this year I decided to give the public school system a try. When I use to give my children “homework” I never worried too much about them turning it in. I taught them pretty much all day and it just carried on over into the evening hours.

Now it’s totally different. I quickly learned that “homework” was really homework and I had to make sure that not only did my boys get it done but understand what they were doing.

I’ve put together some tips that will hopefully help you be apart of your child’s school experience.

Blue Lizard Australian Suncream Sport SPF 30+ Review

Product Name: Blue Lizard Australian Suncream Sport SPF 30+
Rating: 9
Where to Buy: Amazon.com

Description: This sunscreen protects up to 80 minutes while in the water, it protects against UVA and UVB and is one of the highest protections available in sunscreens. Even the bottle turns blue when you are in UV light so you know it’s the perfect time to use it.

Review: I think I have finally found the sunscreen that works for every need I have in the sun. I burn easily and I love the water and the sun so this has not been an easy chore. Finally someone else understands that and has made a sunscreen that actually works for me.

Dive Balls Review

Product Name:  Dive Balls
Rating: 8
Where to Buy:  Amazon.com

Description:  Bright colored balls with tails that sink to the bottom of the water for you to grab and have fun with.  They come in a package of three.

Review:  These balls are so much fun.  Just throw them in the water and down they go.  The tails flutter so they are easy to see and fun to watch.  Once they hit the bottom they stay until retrieved by some of the best divers in your family.
